Ireland South Coast

As we left Wellington Bridge we passed a cemetery with Church ruins in the grounds (top) and in the distance behind it we spotted a castle (bottom photo). Of course we had to stop and have a bit of a look around. It seems the Normans established a couple of towns in this area but all that remain of the medieval sites are some ruins of churches, a priory, tower houses and some graveslabs.
